The third switch system. White. And made of Duroplast.
In the past, our switches were available in white porcelain and black bakelite.
Now, these two series have been supplemented by a third version made of duroplast: Technically, it corresponds to the black series. However, it is white in colour – which is more popular for modern switches and outlets – while offering a low-cost alternative to the porcelain series. All cover plates, switch buttons and outlet elements in the new series are made of lightfast white duroplast. Naturally, these switches and outlets also meet VDE safety regulations.

Ceramic switches.

The interior switch components come from the same company near Lüdenscheid that also equips our other switch series. It has been producing electrical components for shipbuilding and industry since 1910 – in other words, for applications where reliability and durability are extremely important. The ceramic switch action guarantees consistent contact regardless of the rotation speed, and engages with an audible click. This is acoustically pleasing while also reducing wear, since the mechanism prevents arcing which would otherwise damage the contact over time.

Mix and match.

Since the switches and outlets are supplied without covers, they can be combined with single, double, and triple cover plates depending on installation requirements. A special cover plate is required for single dimmer installations. Antenna, telephone, and data outlets are supplied with a matching single cover plate.
